
Roger Kelley portrays a sharpshooter with the handle of Butternut. He is considered to be one
of the most photographed living historians in the nation. He has been reenacting for over sixteen years and has been
to Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida performing.
He has been in numerous documentaries, inclusive of the History and Discovery Channel. He has been in the Heartland
series, Gods and Generals, Freedom, Only the Name Remains, and other feature films. He is a published author and is
currently compiling a book of poetry, which should be out this year. He is a proud member of the Sons of Confederate
Veterans. He is a carpenter by trade with a passion for his heritage. A book entitled, The Search for Butternut,
and play called, 4 Women: 1 War, has been written revolving around his character. Another book entitled
When Ravens Dance will be released in May which is the second part of the trilogy.
